Joe Biden was selected as the president of the USA on November 7, 2020 and many felicitated and congratulated this even especially Afghan analysts and politicians. He opposed Trump regarding the US foreign policy and believed that The US needed to use a softer power when it comes to international affairs, while Trump was like a gangster and always highlighted the power of USA and always threated and intimidated the world. 

Political experts believed that Joe Biden is a calm, but stable politician in the US aspiration as the super power in the world. This does not necessarily mean that Trump didn’t want to be the best in the world, but their performances were quite different from each other. The essence of Joe Biden’s electoral motto in his campaign in regards to foreign policy was “we need to lead the world by the power of our symbols not by the similes of our power.” One cannot refuse that using soft power in electoral campaign in US has always come up with better result than military cope and other military means in the world. In Biden’s political taught and opinion, the US soft power is “the power of the US similes”, which are the essential components of the US democracy in total. 

Supporting the US values and believing in world commitments, supporting human rights, freedom of speech, freedom of religion and taught, supporting civil freedom and gender equality in social-political affairs, creating and supporting associations and volunteer foundations, favoring environment and wild life and enormous financial aid to the world and developing countries etc. were the indicators which Biden mentioned them as the “US power similes” in his campaign. These indicators are also changed to basic and fundamental values among the US people and the US democracy can be defined with them. However, these values, outside the USA, are the means in black box of foreign policy of this country; the means that will not be used equally in everywhere. For instance, violating the human rights in Saudi Arabia and Iran; don’t have equal importance for foreign policy directors of the US and they are more restrict and serious in terms of Iran. Even with these defaults, using the US power symbols in Afghanistan and their achievements in Afghanistan are hilarious. Against “power symbols” using “instances of power” didn’thave any achievements, even the US war machine and improved technology failed against opium based terrorism like Taliban.  

Biden appeared in the US election campaigns with these ideas and became Donald Trump’s sever competitor. He could attain popularity among people, press, American senates and other countries who believed in democratic and liberal values; and finally he became the president. After becoming president, Biden had a difficult battle in front, because he inherited the leadership of a conflictual super power, anxious, and hated government, which remained after Trump-the former president of the USA. Most of the meditators, scholars and politicians all over the world doubted whether the USA will return back to the world top leadership. The US economic, military and political allies lost their trust on the USA and some of the opportunist powers were waiting to utilize this post-Trump situation. 

Biden faced this situation and he had to tackle all these challenges. Among all world big challenges, Afghanistan so-called peace that was managed and directed by Mr. Khalilzad, has also faced a wall and changed into a big riddle for Biden’s foreign policy.Afghanistan issue and the US agreement with Taliban was a riddle in Biden’s foreign policy and this could be understood from his last year speech. Biden was the only person who was against policy of “making state” in Afghanistan during Obama’s presidency. He believed that Afghanistan is multi-national and incompatible country and its people will never be one united nation. He neither believed in complete withdrawal from Afghanistan and deal with the assassins of American soldiers. 

The project that Trump and Khalilzad started aimed at dealing with terrorism, handing over Afghanistan to region terrorists and marginalize Afghanistan completely, which Biden couldn’t easily deal with it. He wanted to withdraw from unending war of Afghanistan; but didn’t want to submit Afghanistan to world and regional competitors of the USA. Joe Biden while being the deputy president during Obama’s presidency, believed that we can’t make broken-down Afghanistan with these corrupted, self-centered and nepotistic politicians and unite the nations; however, it is possible to preserve it through a decentralized government. Biden’s disbeliefs were focused on inevitable corruption of Hamid Karzai government and power of warlords in administrative and state affairs.But Joe Biden trampled all of his previous beliefs and prospects which he was proud of during his election campaign and finally he finished the project Trump and Khalilzad started. He withdrew all American forces from Afghanistan and left Afghan government alone which the US supported financially and militarily during 20 years and caused this government to collapse. 

He ignored the blood of 2400 American soldiers who were killed in Afghanistan for American benefits beside a half million Afghans who died during these 20 years. He betrayed all his Afghan allies and his country soldiers and lost his popularity. He appeared on press and indecently defended his decision and said it is for favor of the USA. The wrong decision, which caused dominant of gorilla militants and Talib terrorist over Afghanistan, eliminated all democratic values, which were attained during 20 years. 

He betrayed all Afghan people including children and youths, young and elderly, man and woman, literate, illiterate, and caused the domination of insane and uneducated heap over poor and deprived Afghan people. Due to Biden’s wrong and snobbish decision, now a terrorist group prints the destiny of 40 million Afghans and their future is unclear. Poverty and joblessness rule oppressively and people are about to die because of hunger. These oppressors oppress women and girl students and want to close the doors of education to girl students.

Joe Biden in particular and the US government in general are responsible for all these oppressions, because Afghanistan was political-military ally of the USA and Joe Biden’s government should not have left this country at this point of time and cause this country to fall in this crisis pit.
